Shahid Modarress Educational Hospital is the only governmental facility in north-western Tehran. In 1975, the hospital was constructed by the Budget and Planning Organization and was handed to the then Melli (National) University. During the recent years and with the construction of several related wards, Shahid Modarress Educational Hospital has been providing wide spectra of services in the region under its coverage. The hospital is still equipping itself by recruiting academic faculty in many specialties and post –specialties and is also preparing the necessary machinery for the hospital to fulfill its mission.

The hospital boosts itself for educating and training fellowships in cardiology, vascular, thorax, and plastic and repair surgeries, pediatric cardiology, urology, cardiology general surgery, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation assistantship periods which distinguishes this hospital as having a major role in training and education at Shahid beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

مستشفى الشهید مدرس التعلیمی هی المنشأة الحکومیة الوحیدة فی شمال غرب طهران. حیث فی عام 1975، تم إنشاء المستشفى من قبل وزارة التخطیط وتم تسلیمه إلى جامعة ملی (الوطنیة) آنذاک. خلال السنوات الأخیرة ومع إنشاء العدید من الأقسام ذات الصلة، قدم مستشفى الشهید مدرس التعلیمی مجموعة واسعة من الخدمات فی المنطقة الواقعة تحت تغطیته.

ولا یزال المستشفى یقوم بتطویر مؤسسته وخدماته من خلال تعیین أعضاء هیئة تدریسیة أکادیمیین فی العدید من التخصصات ، کما یقوم بتوفیر الأجهزة اللازمة للمستشفى .

یعزز المستشفى نفسه من خلال زمالات التعلیم والتدریب فی أمراض القلب والأوعیة الدمویة والصدر والجراحات التجمیلیة والإصلاحیة وأمراض قلب الأطفال والمسالک البولیة وجراحة القلب العامة والطب الباطنی والتخدیر والأشعة وعلم الأمراض والعلاج الفیزیائی ٠ وتقدیم المساعدة فی إعادة التأهیل،

وما یمیز هذا المستشفى أن له دور رئیسی فی التدریب والتعلیم فی جامعة الشهید بهشتی للعلوم الطبیة.
